MOVEMENT IS THE CURE

Total health, fitness and well-being is fully realized by utilizing a holistic approach - - incorporating movement, healthful nutrition, lifestyle and stress management, mindset and manual therapy.
The main modality we employ to achieve these elements is - first and foremost - Movement.
Movement is the medium by which we most easily begin to know ourselves. Our bodies are the vessels by which we interact with our physical world.
Physical fitness, as is experienced with Peaceful Warrior Movement Cure, is a launch pad for exploring your mind, body and spirit in order to grow confidence in the potential of your humanity and all that you can accomplish and achieve.
Eat. Move. Think.

STRESS
There are 3 Types of Stressors that can Positively or Adversely Impact Health & Well-being
(Stress from any of these 3 areas can have a positive or negative impact on the way that our body functions as a whole - as a system of systems.)

1.
Chemical (Eat)

Chemical stressors comprise not only the things we eat but also the things we drink, the air we breathe and the light we are exposed to on a daily basis. This premise serves as the fundamental reason that food quality, in addition to food quantity, is prioritized in our approach to nutrition. Put simply, the things we put into our bodies are either making us healthy or less healthy.

- Thomas Edison

2.
Physical (Move)
Physical stress refers primarily to the damage and repair our bodies experience that involve the locomotor structures of the body - the skeleton, joints, muscles, fascia, nerves and other supporting structures such as ligaments and cartilage. It also encompasses our organs, hormones and other various systems of the body impacting our physical health. Because of this, we believe movement is prescriptive and should be administered in an appropriate measure relative to each individual's needs and goals.

“Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity.”
- John F. Kennedy

3.
Mental / Emotional (Think)

Mental and emotional stressors are what most of us think of when we think of “stress”. Whether it’s stress related to finances, relationships, regrets from the past or anxiety over what the future holds - mental and emotional stress can have a far-reaching, negative impact on our overall sense of well-being and can even manifest itself as physical and chemical stress. Likewise, when mental and emotional stressors are properly addressed, we believe they can have an immensely positive and cascading affect on all other areas of our life.
